In New Jersey, NJ TRANSIT administers the Federal Transit Administration's Section 5310 (Elderly and Individuals with Disabilities), Section 5311 (Rural), Section 5316 (Jobs Access) and Section 5317 (New Freedom) Grant Programs. Each grant program has a State and Program Management Plan which describes the requirements of each program and how each is administered by NJ TRANSIT.
