Essential Skills for Customer Service Representatives
Length: 1 day
Customer service representatives are the voice of the transit organization. They project their agency’s image and play a critical role in building good customer relationships. Participants in this course will learn how to:
- Explain the basics of providing a high quality customer service;
- Identify the six elements of professionalism;
- Respond to the needs of the transit dependent;
- Demonstrate effective communications skills;
- Maintain a positive attitude; and
- Develop a self-improvement plan to meet their needs.
This training is free to employees of New Jersey community transportation providers.
